This is the kind of children's book that adults secretly covet and hoard to themselves. The kind of book you hope to read night after night to your kid. No lie. If you care a whit about writing and creativity and dreams,then Salvador SeBasco's book will still exceed your expectations.

I spent part of this afternoon talking with the author of The Boy, the King, and the Chihuahua, Salvador SeBasco. During that time, he read part of this delightful book to me. Had I not been in public and surrounded by others, I would have cried. Why? It inspires the imagination of children! A delightful, heartwarming and inspiring gift I wholeheartedly recommend.

Contests are inspiring, and so is our FREE monthly newsletter, Jack of Genre: Newsletter for Writers. Jack only comes once a month, but offers readers literary news, articles on writing, marketing, and publication, plus links, tips, and humor for writers. You can subscribe by clicking here.
